One Tuesday, Instagram launched the web feed on instgram.com. Over the past few months Instagram has been adding more and more desktop features to its website like web profiles and photo pages – but now you can do pretty much anything you can in the app, except upload images to the service. If you visit instagram.com and log in, you will be greeted with the feed.

Instagram Web Feed

The Instagram web feed functions much similarly to its app counterpart. You can browse through the latest photos from the people you follow, like photos by either double-clicking them or pressing the heart button, or engage in the conversation with inline commenting. You can also re-size your browser window and make it look like it does on your mobile phone.

Instagram also added this to their blog post:

We believe that you should be able to access Instagram on a variety of different devices, any of which may be convenient to you at a given moment – including your desktop computer or tablet. We do not offer the ability to upload from the web as Instagram is about producing photos on the go, in the real world, in realtime. On the other hand, Instagram for the web is focused on making the browsing experience a fast, simple and enjoyable one.
